A fire broke out at the Skyline Apartment Complex in New Rochelle, starting inside a dryer, fire officials reported.
The incident occurred Monday afternoon, with nearly 30 firefighters responding to the scene.
According to officials, the size of the building presented a challenge, but they managed to act swiftly thanks to pre-existing plans for the structure.
Deputy Chief Donald Bradley of the New Rochelle Fire Department commented, "Just accessing the part of the building that was exposed with fire. It's a big building... but we had the building pre-planned and so we pretty much knew which stairwells got us to where we needed to go."
There were no injuries or evacuations reported from this incident.
