The Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene around 2 a.m. and found smoke coming from the second floor.
Firefighters discovered that the fire was extending into the structure from the chimney and worked to bring it under control.
The fire caused extensive damage to the home, with charred walls and ceilings, and rubble scattered throughout.
The cause of the fire and whether anyone was injured are currently unknown.
