FORECAST:
Yesterday brought quite a bit of action across western Connecticut. Showers and storms rolled through, knocking down trees in some spots and even causing flash flooding. Rainfall totals ranged anywhere from an inch to nearly four inches!
This morning, expect some lingering clouds and fog to start the day. Later on, there's a chance for a few scattered thunderstorms. Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 80s, but with the humidity, it’ll feel more like the 90s so definitely a sticky one out there.
Tonight stays warm and muggy, with lows settling in the low 70s. That warm and slightly humid pattern continues over the next few days.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the weather’s shaping up nicely. But keep an eye out for more showers and storms as we head into early next week.
