A father of seven was killed and his wife seriously injured after their pickup truck went over a guide rail on Route 6 in Carmel, police said.

Police identified the couple as 56-year-old Christopher Roche and 44-year-old Siobhan Roche, both of Carmel. Investigators said the pickup truck went over the guide rail Friday night.

Christopher Roche was pronounced dead at the scene. Siobhan Roche was taken to Westchester Medical Center, where she remains in serious condition.

A GoFundMe page set up for the family says the couple have seven children.
