Cold weather didn't stop a father and son from ice fishing on White Pond in Kent in Putnam County.

Mickey and son Tim Farina work to drill holes, set lines and patiently wait for a bite.

They say it's not just about the catch but being outside in nature.

"It's always rewarding when you catch something, but really you get to observe birds and all types of wildlife," says Tim Farina.

White Pond is a favorite spot for local anglers in the area.
