All lanes in both directions of the Bethpage State Parkway are closed following a fatal accident on Friday.

State police say the call came in at 9:30 a.m. for a two-vehicle fatal accident on the parkway. One vehicle had crossed over into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle head on, according to police.

The parkway is currently closed between Exit B1 to the Southern State Parkway and Exit B2 to Boundary Avenue.
