A popular market and restaurant in Suffolk County is getting ready to plate its last meals.
Catfish Annie’s, located at 116 Commack Road in Commack, announced their plans to close on their Instagram page on Thursday.
The family-owned seafood eatery has been serving the community fresh dine-in and take-out since 1977.
“I have decided to hang up my apron and retire at the end of August,” owner Kathleen Annunziato said in the social media post.
Annunziato thanked her children, nephews, and kitchen staff for helping her keep the business running after her husband, Anthony, passed away in 2024.
Anyone with a gift certificate is asked to come in by the last week of August.
“Thank you once again for all the support and love you have showed my family and I these past 45 years,” Annunziato continued.
