Schools return to Elizabeth tomorrow and some local businesses are preparing for the back to school rush!
Floral Cafe, a family-run small business in town welcomed News 12 in this morning to share a little bit about what they offer.
It's a hot-spot for students to get some fuel and brain food in before class! They're known for grab and go coffee, fresh pastries and breakfast platters. They also offer specials for students, such as the pancake special. In addition to that, there is free Wi-Fi so students can get homework before done, while enjoying a meal.
"I have five kids, four girls one boy, this is a great place where the kids like to go before school after school , a snack," said Richard, a frequent customer.
"We have three schools in the neighborhood," said Rosemary Silva, co-owner of Floral Cafe. "When people come in and out of school, this place gets really, really busy. The neighbors are like family," she said.
The hope is for Floral Cafe to expand into outdoor dining, so they can offer more for students while they work.
