Fairfield police K-9 Penny and her handler, Officer Anthony Renaldi, have completed their North American Police Work Dog Association tracking and trailing certification.

News 12 first reported on the bloodhound last year when she was just a puppy.

Penny will assist in tracking missing or lost people.

Kindergarteners from North Stratfield Elementary School surprised her with gifts and plenty of pets just after her graduation.
