13h agoThe Fairfield Police Department will begin enhanced enforcement for e-bike and scooter violations starting Sunday.
Residents may now be issued a warning or summons if they are found violating a law.
Officers can also escort minors and their bikes home to speak with a parent or guardian.
The department reminds the community that all drivers and bicyclists must be aware of each other and obey the rules of the road.
