Video given exclusively to News 12 shows a pair of shocking attacks in Bayville on Memorial Day. The first video shows a driver coming up Oak Neck Beach Road towards Bayville Road when a black car cuts the driver off and slows down to an abrupt stop before two people get out, pop the trunk and begin hitting the car with a baseball bat and lacrosse stick.

One person is seen wearing a black ski mask partially covering their face. The driver, who asked not to be identified, quickly reverses before speeding up and driving around the still parked car with the trunk open as one of the other people outside of the car takes one more swing. About 15 minutes later, another video given to News 12 shows a similar situation unfolding. About a mile east at the intersection of Bayville Avenue and Mountain Avenue, a car is driving when the same black car with the same license plate cuts them off abruptly.

A person gets out and starts running towards the trunk area before the driver, who was cut off, speeds into the opposite lane around the other car, before anything further unfolds. Nassau County police said the department is looking into the incidents, but has not provided any additional information at this time.

Bayville Village Mayor Steve Minicozzi told News 12 on Wednesday that he had no comment because it's an active investigation.

Neighbors told News 12 they are paying extra attention on the roads in the area.
