Many around New Jersey are facing parking problems because of the leftover piles of snow. The situation got so bad, that police got involved in Elizabeth.
A driver left a sign with the message, “Try another one, this parking spot will cost you two flat tires.”
Officers say a neighbor saw the sign on a public street while dropping off their disabled mother.
Because of the sign, they opted to park further away out of safety concerns.
Police quickly took the sign down, and even left a note saying “Shoveling earns cardio, not property rights. As a reminder, this is a public street and public parking. Your sign is with us. We approve the effort. Love, Elizabeth police.”
