All eastbound lanes are closed on the Long Island Expressway after a crash late Sunday afternoon near Exit 41, according to Nassau police.

Detectives say they received a call for a vehicle accident in the expressway at 5:58 p.m.

It was not immediately clear if multiple cars were involved or if there were any imjuries.
