An East Northport man was arrested for allegedly stabbing his grandmother's fiancé to death early Saturday morning.
Suffolk police say they responded to a 911 call at 3:42 a.m. for a stabbing that occurred inside a trailer parked in the driveway of 8 Catherine St.
Responding officers found 61-year-old Joseph Falvo, who lived at the address, with multiple stab wounds in the living room of the trailer.
He was taken to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police arrested 18-year-old Noel Bermudez-Chin a short time later on Laurel Hill Road in Northport, according to detectives.
Authorities say Bermudez-Chin is the grandson of Falvo's fiancée.
He was charged with murder in the second degree.
Bermudez-Chin will be arraigned on March 30 at the First District Court in Central Islip.
