A well-known Long Island beach has been named one of the top spots in the country once again.

Main Beach in East Hampton is the fifth best in the U.S., according to Dr. Beach.

This is the second year in a row that the East End destination was ranked in the number five spot on this list.

Popular Coopers Beach in Southampton was left out of the top ten this year after reclaiming the number one spot in 2025.

Poipu Beach in Kauai, Hawaii was named the best in the nation this time around.

Other locations rounding out the top ten include three beaches in Florida, one in South Carolina, one on Cape Cod, and three others also in Hawaii.
