One person was injured after an e‑scooter slammed into an SUV in Wantagh.

Police say a 28‑year‑old was riding the e‑scooter heading south on Briard Street when he crashed into the passenger side door of a Jeep.

It happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Friday.

The rider suffered an arm injury and multiple facial lacerations, but is listed in stable condition.
