Two elected law enforcement officials in Dutchess County are withdrawing their support for the continued use of Flock technology.

D.A. Anthony Parisi and Sheriff Kirk Imperati said they made their decision after discussions and hearing concerns raised by residents at community forums.

Imperati believes that properly regulated license plate reader technology can have legitimate investigative value but says that does not mean the government should continue using it when the people it serves raise serious concerns.
