A Poughkeepsie man will spend decades in prison after being convicted of sex crimes against a child, prosecutors said.
The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office said 42-year-old Victor Harris was sentenced to 41 years in prison. He was convicted of multiple felony sexual offenses and endangering the welfare of a child.
Authorities said the victim was younger than 15 and the crimes occurred between 2022 and 2024.
Harris must also register as a sex offender.
