Police are searching for two suspects accused of targeting women in a 15-robbery chain-snatching spree across the Bronx and Manhattan.
Investigators say the pair stole more than $8,000 worth of jewelry between May 28 and July 10, approaching women on a scooter or motorcycle before ripping necklaces from their necks and speeding away.
Police say one of the most violent attacks happened June 26 near 535 E. 187th St., where an 18-year-old woman suffered a neck injury after her chain was allegedly ripped from her neck.
The latest robbery happened July 10 near Walton Avenue and East 171st Street, where a 26-year-old woman had an $800 chain stolen from her.
