Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of intentionally crashing into another driver early Friday morning in Newark.

Officials say a woman was followed by a man she knows on Eastern Parkway before being rear-ended near around 4:20 a.m.

The vehicle overturned and landed on a nearby lawn after impact. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Police say the victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
