Suffolk police are reminding drivers to keep an eye on your speedometer and slow down.

The warning comes as one officer recently clocked a man going 51 miles per hour over the speed limit!

The department released body camera video of the traffic stop where he can be heard telling the individual he was traveling 106 mph on the Long Island Expressway.

"Is there a legal reason you were doing 106 miles per hour in a 55 mile an hour zone?" the officer questioned.

"I was going 106?" the driver can be heard replying.

The incident happened around 2 p.m. on Sept. 12 near Exit 70 in Manorville.

“At high speeds, there is little room for error and even less time to react. Our officers are out every day enforcing traffic laws and stopping dangerous driving before it ends in tragedy. Slow down, Suffolk,” police said in the social media post where they shared the video.

The driver received summonses for speeding and a front window tint.
