A person is hospitalized with serious injuries after being pinned under a truck in Morristown this morning. Police told News 12 the incident took place at about 7 a.m. on Sussex Avenue. Officers and EMS workers responded to the area after receiving reports of a person pinned under a truck. “The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to Morristown Medical Center,” police said in a statement. The driver of the truck fled the scene on foot, police said. Crews from the Morris County Sheriff's Office K-9 and Crime Scene units responded to assist with the investigation, Morristown police said. The incident is still actively being investigated.
