A Central Islip woman has been arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated after crashing her vehicle through the front of a house.

Suffolk police say Estefany DeJesus was driving a 2022 BMW SUV southbound on Birchgrove Drive when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a house on Nostrand Avenue just after 2 a.m. None of the residents in the home were injured, according to police.

Officers who arrived on scene determined DeJesus was impaired and she was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for evaluation.

DeJesus is charged with driving while intoxicated and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip.
