Police are cracking down on illegal street takeover activity in Eastchester.

The crackdown comes after seven people were arrested and officers seized three cars and two firearms.

Neighbors say this is the same area where drag racing has become a growing problem.

News 12 also uncovered an Instagram video posted about a month ago that appears to show similar activity, with cars spinning through the street surrounded by crowds. Residents say the once quiet neighborhood is now facing dangerous late-night gatherings that put the community at risk.
