Door-to-door salesman sentenced to 20 years for Jackson stabbing

A door-to-door salesman was sentenced to 20 years in prison for fatally stabbing a man in Jackson two years ago, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.
Michael Tsamas, working for a company hired by Verizon, attempted to solicit business from Joseph Delgardio in 2022, prosecutors said.
Delgardio declined the offer, but later confronted Tsamas on the street, leading Tsamas to stab him in the neck.
Tsamas was convicted of aggravated manslaughter and weapons offenses.
