The magic of Disney is coming a little closer to home for New Jersey Mouseketeers — but it will not be around for long.

The Magic Kingdom is about 1,100 miles from Paramus, but Disney fans can get a dose of pixie dust at Westfield Garden State Plaza when the Disney Store Limited Time opens its doors at 4 p.m. Sept. 3.

The 2,300-square-foot temporary retail store will be located on Level 1 of the mall near Sneaker City. Created in collaboration with the Go! Retail Group, the store will be filled with merchandise inspired by Disney parks, characters and stories, including some products available only at the Disney Store. In addition, the store will sell exclusive T-shirts and tote bags featuring New Jersey-inspired artwork.

The Paramus store is the second Disney Store Limited Time location. The first opened May 23 at Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Disney Store Limited Time grand opening event will take place at 4 p.m. Sept. 3. After that, the store will be open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and closed on Sundays. It will remain open through the 2026 holiday season.
