Want a seat for the year's biggest tennis matchups without taking a hit to your wallet? New York City residents can score discounted U.S. Open tickets beginning 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani and the United States Tennis Association made the announcement Tuesday, saying it will give New Yorkers the opportunity to watch the major tennis event in their own backyard.

“If the world’s best tennis players are coming to our city, New Yorkers should be able to see them play," said Mamdani.

1,000 tickets will be on a first-come, first-serve basic, but they require a New York City zip code.

Eligible residents can purchase up to two tickets for $100 each to Main Draw matches taking place between Aug. 30 and Sept. 8.
