Nassau police responded to a Westbury neighborhood late Monday night.

Detectives tell News 12 they are investigating a police-involved shooting that occurred in the vicinity of Brush Hollow Road.

Officers were called to the scene near Talbot Drive around 11 p.m.

A dark-colored SUV cordoned off by police tape could be seen with a shattered passenger-side window.

Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder will release more details about the incident at a 10:30 a.m. press conference.
