Steven Schwally, accused of driving drunk and barreling into a nail salon at 78 mph, killing four people, is facing more than two dozen charges, including multiple murder charges.
His fate is now in the hands of a jury.
Throughout the course of the day, the jurors sent three notes.
They first requested the definitions of murder and manslaughter in order to understand the difference between the two.
They later asked for the definition of depraved indifference.
At the end of the day, the third note asked for testimony, which will be dealt with when court resumes Thursday morning.
Loved ones of victim Emilia Rennhack, an NYPD officer, were at the courthouse, as well as fellow officers and NYC PBA President Patrick Hendry.
