A family-owned grocery store is taking over the former Stop & Shop location on Glenville Street in Greenwich.

DeCicco & Sons officially expanded into Connecticut after opening the first store in the state on Wednesday.

The 20,000-square-foot marketplace features fresh produce, seafood, a full deli, bakery and a variety of local and specialty products.

The company says it anticipates getting involved locally and extending its School Rebate Program to Greenwich.
