Crews are working to repair a water main break on Westchester and Harrod avenues

News 12 cameras captured the water gushing out of the hole in the street and rushing down Harrod Avenue.

The city's Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is on the scene as they work to find the source of the water.

One lane of Westchester Avenue is currently closed with Harrod Avenue still open, causing cars coming off the Bronx River Pkwy to drive through the water.

A spokesperson from the DEP tells News 12 that a leak was found and repairs are underway.
