        Crews work to clean up damage left from Bedford Park water main break

        Crews say they are working to remove water and repair extensive damage, but many residents remain displaced.

        Cleanup efforts continue on Webster Avenue after Monday night’s devastating water main break, which flooded homes and businesses.
        Crews say they are working to remove water and repair extensive damage, but many residents remain displaced.

        Con Edison reports ongoing gas and electric outages, with no exact time on restoration at this point.
        The American Red Cross is providing meals, supplies and temporary housing assistance to those affected.
        It says as of Thursday, it distributed 375 meals and 250 blankets to 20 households that have been registered for assistance. A dozen households also received emergency temporary housing.
