Multiple departments responded to a fire in Nassau County early Friday morning.
The flames broke out around 5 a.m. at a home on Peconic Avenue in Seaford, fire officials say.
The blaze was brought under control in about two hours with 75 firefighters on scene, according to the Nassau Fire Marshal's office.
Three occupants from the home were displaced and offered assistance from the Red Cross.
Operations were under the command of Chief Krussman of the Wantagh Fire Department and the Town of Hempstead Building Department will assess the severe damage to the structure.
The Fire Marshal and Nassau Police Arson/Bomb Squad are investigating the cause.
