A cold front passes by overnight as the calendar page was flipped from September to October.

Temps have cooled down all across the Hudson Valley for the day today. There will be breezy winds along with sunny skies.

Wednesday night will see the winds back down and the cold air settle down. A chance for frost will be possible, mainly closer to the Catskills.

Temps bounce back to seasonal levels for Friday as the sun stays out and about.

It is the Pick of the Week for being a delightful Autumn day!

The weekend will look just as nice but will trend warmer. Some spots will see temps inching closer to the upper 70s.

Another temperature rollercoaster ride is in sight for the first half of next week with a cold front approaching. That front could bring rain to the area.

Temps will fall into the low to mid 30s, resulting in a chance for frost to form.
