Chris Gallant, the congressional candidate from Amityville, is speaking out against photos of him that were shared online.

The images show him in leather straps and collars. The photos were reportedly taken for a bondage gear company.

Gallant is running as a Democrat against incumbent Republican Nick LaLota for Long Island's first congressional district.

"By now you've probably seen the stories and the pictures, but let's be clear about what this is. This is a coordinated political hit meant to drive me out of this race," said Gallant in an online social media post.

The Suffolk County Conservative Committee also made a post criticizing Gallant and asking voters if he was the person they wanted in Washington.
