18m agoThe confirmed EF-0 tornado touched down for one minute in New Paltz on Friday – and left only minimal damage in its wake.
New Paltz police used social media to inform residents about a tornado. According to the post, the touchdown occurred around 5:52 p.m. near the Thruway interchange.
Police say the only damage was “several uprooted trees.”
