Overcast skies will carry us through tonight.
A developing wind coming from the Carolina's will slowly begin warming the region back into the mid 50’s.
At the moment, the forecast is looking wet for very late Friday night into Saturday morning. That is the general timeframe of storminess right now.
Some new guidance coming into the weather center is suggesting that the wet weather could hold off a bit longer, and that would mean showers for the first part of Saturday. Not ideal but also not a total washout.
The showers will then move offshore; the winds pick back up, and slightly cooler air once again claims a stake over New Jersey for the early next week.
We are a week away from Thanksgiving. The forecast is anything but set in stone. But a hint of cloudy/ showery weather is likely.
The question is about winds. Will it be too windy for the balloons to fly through Manhattan for the parade. Let's see how the pattern evolves.
