FORECAST:
Clouds increase through today ahead of spotty showers that will arrive for Tuesday, especially south and east. Although rain holds out for longer in our north and northwestern areas, it will eventually reach these communities by Wednesday.
Temperatures will be mild today with highs near 82 degrees before the clouds overcast the sky into Tuesday.
Tuesday's cloudy sky comes with high temperatures near 75 and sprinkles. Wind begins to pick up east of the parkway south of Exit 129. Coastal gusts will reach 25 mph into Tuesday night and Wednesday with the rain showers.
A coastal storm develops offshore, and fringe impacts are again expected here across the Garden State.
The weather rapidly improves on Thursday with sunshine and warm weather.
It actually turns hot on Friday (highs near 87) ahead of a plunge of cooler Canadian air that arrives for the weekend.
This will turn temperatures cooler for Saturday and Sunday - in the lower 70s.
