A child was found not breathing in a pool Saturday on Central Avenue in Baldwin, according to Nassau County police.

Officials say the incident was reported around noon.

After police and emergency medical crews arrived, the child was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

Authorities have not released the minors age or current condition.
