A child has died after being struck by a bus Thursday morning in New Square.
The incident happened shortly 8:35 a.m. near 32 Ostilla Avenue in the village.
The bus driver remained at the scene following the crash, police said.
The boy was taken to Westchester Medical Center in serious condition and later died, police said.
Ramapo police and New Square emergency responders were at the scene for several hours.
