Families and friends filled the campus to cheer on graduates who have spent the past four years working toward this moment.
The crowd was buzzing with excitement, hope and a few happy tears.
Among the many inspiring stories, nursing graduate Irving Escobar stood out — returning to school at 26 and overcoming personal loss to earn his degree.
