Happy Friday! Connecticut sees warmer temperatures today with highs in the low-60s. There will be partly sunny skies with showers for some late tonight into the overnight. Saturday will be the weather story this weekend. High temperatures won’t be quite record-breaking, but they will be warm in the 70s and then cool for Sunday. With the front sagging southward, temperatures will get stuck in the 50s. We will have to dodge a few rain showers late Saturday night as well as Sunday. Steady to heavy rain may be in the forecast throughout Monday as well. The front is forecast to return northward again to start the week, so temperatures will rise once again and spike in the mid-60s before dropping again early next week. There will be a partial solar eclipse happening Saturday morning at sunrise, but this may be difficult to see with clouds in the area. The solar eclipse starts before sunrise and the sun will rise in the eclipse, with the moon covering about 21% of the sun. The eclipse will end shortly after at 7:05am. The best area to view will be a wide-open eastern horizon.
