Curtain Call in Stamford will celebrate 35 years of singing, dancing and entertaining in the New Year.
With two stages, and a summer production of Shakespeare on the Green, the community theatre company boasts 12 shows every year.
Lou Ursone, executive/artistic director says he likes to mix it up.
"We provide a little bit of something. So, I feel like if we can give everybody two shows a year that they're really excited about, that's great, and if you want to come for everything, even better." He says the productions vary from some of the best known of Broadway, to dramas and musicals, and even some originals.
"Sometimes it can be uplifting, sometimes it can bring you to tears, and often times just gives you a chance to get out and laugh." Curtain Call also offers educational opportunities for all ages. Upcoming shows include "Mystic Pizza" — a first for Fairfield County-- "A Few Good Men" and "Spongebob the Musical". The box office offers a Flex Pass for discounted tickets.
