Connecticut has enough jobs but not enough qualified people to fill them, according to a new report from the Connecticut Business and Industry Association.
The report says 27% of the state's workforce is 55 or older, the third oldest workforce in the nation.
Some businesses say housing and health insurance are overpriced to bring in potential employers.
The Connecticut Business and Industry Association Summit stated it wants schools to focus on apprenticeship and job training programs.
