A whale slammed into a boat outside Moriches Inlet on Saturday.

One of the three people on board told News 12 that it happened two miles west of Fire Island. The boaters saw the whale 300 yards away eating on a pod of bunker fish.

No one on the boat was hurt. The whale swam away.
