A new video has surfaced showing the moments when a Melrose bodega owner fired shots at two suspects who were allegedly trying to rob the store.

The video apparently shows the two robbers ask a woman to step away from the counter before approaching the register. Moments later, a firearm is revealed from behind the register, and the owner is seen firing multiple shots as the two men flee the store.

According to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, one of the suspects, a 17-year-old, will appear in family court. The second suspect remains at large.

The owner of the bodega now faces firearm possession charges.
