New Jersey State Police rescued a cat from Interstate 80 earlier this month - and the whole ordeal was captured on police dashcam.

The black cat was spotted running along I-80 in Paterson on Sept. 21.

Police slowed down traffic on the highway to allow a trooper to get out to catch the feline.

Once the cat was safely in their possession, the troopers brought it back to the barracks. The cat was then safely delivered to an animal shelter.
