A car crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Katonah.

County police say it happened near the Bedford Hills exit on the southbound side Tuesday afternoon.

The driver of the SUV was conscious and taken to an area hospital, according to officials.

Police say two southbound lanes and one northbound lane are closed.

Officials are investigating why the tractor-trailer was on the parkway.
