A bus aide is facing charges after police said he abused a nonverbal child with special needs in the Town of Crawford in Orange County.

Eric Bianco is accused of slapping and kneeing a child with autism and other health concerns on two separate occasions, police said.

He worked for First Student Transportation Company, officials said.

Bianco was arrested Friday, police said.
