No one was hurt after a brush fire got very close to a home in Spring Valley.

It happened Thursday evening behind some homes in the 100 block of Rock Hill Road.

Emergency crews don't know yet what caused it, but they think the dry weather conditions could have been a factor.

Neighbors say the flames got within feet of someone's back deck.

Fortunately, the fire was tamed before it did any major damage to the homes in the neighborhood.
